The woofer section allows all frequencies below 3.5khz to pass through to your woofer. The tweeter section allows all frequencies above 3.5k Hz to pass through. All unwanted frequencies are reduced at a rate of 12 dB per octave. 8 ohm

Allows all frequencies above 4k Hz to pass through to your horn driver while reducing all frequencies below 4k Hz at a rate of 12 dB per octave. Since most clubs and DJ's boost the extreme high's and low's on their EQ while reducing the mid's, 4k Hz is a perfect crossover point for smooth high's as well as protection for the driver. Since most woofers have a natural roll off that starts somewhere between 800 Hz and 1500 Hz, many popular 2 way speaker cabinets use this crossover on the horn driver and nothing on the woofer.
